Taras Shevchenko is acknowledged as one of the most outstanding realist painters in mid-19th century Ukrainian and Russian art. Sources indicate that he produced over 1,000 works of art.

Taras Shevchenko, founder of the new Ukrainian literature, is considered one of the greatest humanist writers of all times. His writings, especially his poetry, have been published in thousands of volumes, including translations into the major world languages.

Though forbidden to write or paint, Shevchenko clandestinely wrote a few lyric poems during the first years of his exile. He had a revival of creativity after his release in 1857; his later poetry treats historical and moral issues, both Ukrainian and universal.

Languages, with their complex implications for identity, communication, social integration, education and development, are of strategic importance for people and planet. Yet, due to globalization processes, they are increasingly under threat, or disappearing altogether. When languages fade, so does the world's rich tapestry of cultural diversity. Opportunities, traditions, memory, unique modes of thinking and expression — valuable resources for ensuring a better future — are also lost.At least 43% of the estimated 6000 languages spoken in the world are endangered. Only a few hundred languages have genuinely been given a place in education systems and the public domain, and less than a hundred are used in the digital world.

Saint Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is celebrated in many countries worldwide. The origins of Valentine's Day are not clear but many sources believe that it stems from the story of St Valentine, a Roman priest who was martyred on or around February 14 in the year 270 CE. Valentine’s Day has become increasingly popular in the world.

The most common symbols of Valentine's Day are heart shapes, which are used to decorate many things, including cards, trees, wrapping paper, cookies and gift boxes. Other symbols associated with Valentine’s Day are pairs of birds, cute teddy bears, Cupid and his arrows and couples kissing or embracing. The colors red and pink are often associated with Valentine's Day.

Зареєструватися для участі в пробному зовнішньому незалежному оцінюванні можна самостійно на сайтах регіональних центрів оцінювання якості освіти.

Реєстрація триватиме з 9 до 31 січня 2018 року.

У день проведення пробного тестування кожен зареєстрований учасник може скласти тест з одного навчального предмета: 24 березня з української мови і літератури, а 31 березня – з історії України, математики, біології, географії, фізики, хімії, англійської, іспанської, німецької, французької мов.

Учасники пробного зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання мають можливість:

• ознайомитися з процедурою та зразками тестів, що відповідають вимогам програм ЗНО, характеристикам і структурі сертифікаційних робіт зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання 2018 року;
• виконати пробний тест і попрактикуватися в заповненні бланків відповідей;
  завчасно ознайомитися з організацією роботи пункту проведення зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання;
• навчитись ефективно розподіляти час на виконання тесту;
• отримати правильні відповіді та дізнатися результат тестування;
• оцінити власний ступінь готовності до проходження зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання.
